Jawaher Alblooshi is an Emirati graduate from Zayed University in Dubai, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. During her studies, she developed a strong foundation in psychological theory, research methods, and data analysis, actively contributing to research projects that deepened her understanding of human behavior. 

She gained hands-on experience working with students with learning disabilities and visual impairments, providing academic support and assisting with administrative tasks such as translating materials into Braille. This role enhanced her understanding of educational psychology and inclusive support strategies. 

As a research assistant, she traveled to Jordan to support a study on the distorted self among Syrian refugees, conducting interviews and analyzing qualitative data on trauma and identity. She also completed a psychology internship under a licensed psychologist, where she engaged in case study discussions, literature reviews on trauma, and ethical debates around culturally sensitive care. 

Currently, Jawaher works as an Assistant Psychologist at Maudsley Health Abu Dhabi with the Children and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) team, where she contributes to assessments, treatment planning, and therapeutic support. 

Passionate about trauma psychology, Jawaher is committed to expanding her clinical expertise and making a meaningful impact in the mental health field, especially in the care of children, adolescents, and vulnerable populations.
