Ms Zainab Nader Alfardan holds a Master of Science in Child and Adolescent Mental Health from University College London, United Kingdom, awarded in 2024, and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with Honours from Queen Mary University of London, United Kingdom, completed in 2021. Her academic background focused on developmental psychology, neurodevelopmental conditions, and psychological interventions for young people.
Zainab has supported children, adolescents, and young adults in both educational and clinical-facing roles. She has delivered public talks and conducted private consultations, providing academic and psychological guidance to Emirati students during her tenure at the UAE Embassy, where she served as a Technical Attaché in the education department. She has also contributed to voluntary programmes, including support for special needs centres, community reintegration initiatives, and specialised youth leadership schemes.
At Maudsley Health, Zainab works as an Assistant Psychologist, supporting the assessment and psychological care of young people with a range of mental health needs. Her clinical interests include neurodevelopmental disorders, eating disorders, mood-related difficulties, and forensic mental health presentations.
