Emma Jephcott is a Clinical Psychologist at Maudsley Health in Abu Dhabi. She completed a 2-year Master of Psychology (Clinical) in 2020 at the Australian College of Applied Psychology, Sydney, Australia. Emma also completed a 4-year Bachelor of Science (Psychology) with Honours in 2016 at the University of Southern Queensland, Australia. She is a registered Clinical Psychologist and Board approved Supervisor with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). Emma is an Accredited EMDR Practitioner with the EMDR Association of Australia.
Emma began working in the psychology field in 2012 as a Psychological Assistant with the Australian Army, contributing to organisational psychology capabilities. During her clinical training, she worked in public hospitals, not-for-profit organisations and university clinics. Since completing clinical training, Emma has predominantly worked in private practice and the Australian military. In these roles she conducted individual therapy, complex assessments, and developed policy and training courses.
Emma enjoys working individually with clients to address mood disorders, anxiety disorders, eating disorders and trauma. She uses evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive Behavioural therapy (CBT), Schema therapy, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing therapy (EMDR). Emma also provides cognitive and neurodevelopmental assessments.
